I was wondering if any one had any experience with hooking up an xbox 360 up to a home wireless network. I seem to be having some issues hooking up my new 360 to the home network. My old 360 had no issues and is currently hooked up upstairs in the same house. The system is able to connect to the neighbors wireless no issues. We have tried a few different approaches when it has come to getting it to connect to our home wireless. When we try to connect the 360 it will not pop up on our wireless program where you can allow it or deny it access tot he wireless.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is getting frustrating playing on the neighbors wireless lol.

erm how about that's considered theft of service and it's illegal...

you really need to NOT use your neighbor's connection

http://www.geekstogo...ial-t98770.html read that tutorial, it should have the info you need to get everything connected to YOUR network

They have allowed us to use their wireless. It is the simple fact that it is not a strong connection, as it is the house next door. I have read all that. I just need someone that has experience with an xbox 360 to help me out.

They have allowed us to use their wireless.

your neighbor telling you it's ok doesn't make it legal. MOST ISPs prohibit connection sharing, whether the person paying for the connection is aware of it or not
