As soon as my computer connects to the internet my firefox self starts and loads "http://supernovva.co...t-stocks.html". I've tried to find articles on how to solve this, have updated AVG and run it. I see that it forms a folder on my flash drive called winvid (with the faded recycle bin sign) which when I delete the folder it says it contains the following files : desktop, wwcodec.

As I said I've searched all over for anything similar, but fear I could have easily used poor search terms and missed solutions. Has anyone seen or heard anything matching this description?

(I ask it in this manner so as to hopefully avoid being a having someone repeatably solve the same problem, else I'll have to do it the long way as stating in the geekstogo instructions)
