After AOL bought mail.com, cannot get my email account to work from my home computer. It works fine from the computer at work which has a broadband connection and IE 6 browser. Have analog dial up connection and opera browser on my home computer. Also have tried IE 6 browser but get the same result. Can get the mail.com website to come up but get the cofe 1700 error. But cannot get the cofe 1700 error page that explains what it is and what to do to correct it. And the work computer gets everything fine so cannot get the answer from it since the error page will not display. Don't know much about computers or would have had a backup email account. Have gotten another account with GMX and they have a page that says you can get your other email account through their email system but cannot get it to work either. When trying that or to get the cofe 1700 error page, just get a blank screen. Any ideas?
