i have made an audio recording of an important lectur of mine most of which i built on Q&A and i suspected the the "Qs" will be very enriching leading to unpredicted answers. indeed it was, but the recording was with the mic's amplifier being off so the level of the audio is very weak.

is there a freeware that one can recomend me to use to improve the level of the audio so that i can hear clearly the conversation and type i out?

many thanks, yuval

Audacity is one of my favorites, you can fiddle with just about anything. you'd probably want to adjust the gain on the track to get the proper volume
