hi, sorry to repost, but i was told to, but to disbale word wrap in notepad for my hijack this log.
thx,
dan
-------------------------

hello, i have spyware infection. started as desktop background changed to html page advertising that i have spyware and should go to www.topantispyware.com/.... it also disabled my previously installed antispyware programs from executing (search & destroy, adaware, also would not allow norton antivirus to run either.,) i even uninstalled and reinstalled the mentioned antispyware progs and still would not run. was able to install and run webroot spysweeper which found and fixed over 70 problems including trojan horses.
however, desktop backround is still sourced as C:\WINDOWS\Web\desktop.html and is a grey binking background. also, on reboot spysweeper keeps finding attampts to add to my favorites and switch default homepage address to "http://w-find.com/index.htm"

i have performed all preliminary steps as advised before posting this hijack this log.

any help is greatly appreciated. i hope to reciprocate.
Thanks, Dan
