Sorry if this is in the wrong forum!

Recently I was watching some videos off my Olympus 1GB SD card (using the card reader on my laptop) when the video started stuffing up, so I closed it, even though it came up with the non-responding message and I restarted my laptop.

When it finished restarting, I put the memory card in and now every time I try to open up the memory card it comes up with a message saying "The disk in drive E is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?". But I click no because I really don't want to lose the videos and pictures on there. I've tried running Recuva but it came up with a message saying "Unable to read boot sector".

I really really don't want to lose the pictures forever Is there something I can do or should I just format the drive and run Recuva? If anyone could help me I'd be foreveeer thankful.

Do not reformat. Once you do, all hope is lost.

another one to try is MjM Free Photo Recovery Software...its freeware
MjM Free Photo Recovery Software will recover images that have been deleted from a memory card, or from memory cards that have been formatted
