Good afternoon all,

Both Firefox and IE shut down after I download something in an email such as a pic or PPT. I'm running Vista Basic.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Close Firefox. Go Start>All Programs>Mozilla Firefox, click on Mozilla Firefox (safe mode). Same thing?

Yes, it still happens.
It's weird, over the last week or two while using G2G for other things, there were a couple of times, it didn't shut down.
But 90% of the time, it does.

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).

Thank you very much for your help.

I have gone thru the guide and believe I've done what I should and will post as well.

You are very helpful for someone like me, who needs step by step.

:)
