I start my lap Top, it goes through set up showing all specifications and then the beep, then the windows xp logo with a bar showing program loading etc and then all of a sudden a light blue page with writing appears on the screen, then dissapears and then the computer restars and it all happens again, and then the computer restarts and it all happens again etc etc etc.

What the writing on the blue page says (I don't know) as it flashes very quickly before it restarts.

It's not a virus as the Lap Top has not been linked to the internet for months.

Any ideas?

Have just been able to stop it from rebooting long enough for me to read the white writing

"UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME"

It states to disable or remove any new hardware (But I have not loaded any new hardware for months). I use "flashdrives" through my USB ports but thats it.

I trust this extra bit of information can help!

Thanks in advance.
