OE6 on my Dell laptop (with W98SE) shows no messages in my Inbox or Deleted box although I <know> I have many messages in each. I can see messages in the Sent box (and in other boxes as well). I can successfully send new messages but canít receive any.

Whatever could be going on? Thanks.

Hey wdc202. :)

Let's deal with the problem of not receiving messages.

Firstly,

Have you been able to receive messages in the past?

If not, what account type are you using?

Does it show any error messages when you try to receive emails?

Secondly,

Go to this Microsoft article and give their solutions a go:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/813514

Ok. The problem with not seeing your inbox messages and deleted items.

I have a couple of ideas you can try:

Firstly it could be a problem with your view settings,

1. Select View
2. Go to Current View
3. Make sure Messages is selected

If that doesn't solve the issue, try this:

1. Go to Tools
2. Select Message Rules
3. Go to Blocked Senders
4. Make sure you haven't blocked yourself; if you have then delete yourself from this list.

Give those solutions a try and let me know how it goes. :)
