Hi I've been directed here, this is my issue, yesterday, I downloaded 2 large programs to convert PDF files and a music writing program. Today, my computer starts and makes it to the picture on my desktop but a box appears that says:
Explorer.exe-bad image
the application or DLL c:\windows|system32\st3dll is not a valid windows image please check this against your insatllation diskette.

The mouse works, and absolutly nothing else. No icons, no start menu nothing. So on that computer I can not access anything. I'm on my laptop right now...
it's a PC, 200gig hd 2.4gig processor Athalon, 2 gigs of ram.
Thanks for what ever help you can give.
