This may be a silly question, but Iím new to all this. I'm thinking of cloning my entire hard drive to a removable CD or DVD. But I can't find any CDs or DVDs with large enough storage capacity. The ones I've seen only go up to 4 GB. My drive is over 232 GB, so even compressing it would not reduce it in size to fit a 4 GB CD/DVD. Does anyone know of any CD/DVDs with over 232 GB storage capacity?

Nope not going to happen. To do something like you want you need to create a image backup of your drive.
Acronis is one such program. Another would be using a Linux Live CD with a program called Partimage.
This would create a Image or ISO of your partition and compress it down to a 700 meg file which would then fit on a cd media.
