Hi, I have win VISTA and of course microsoft made me update my media player which gives me more problems DAILY! I know VISTA is crap and I am thinking going back to XP - but - how can I uninstall windows media player and reinstall it? I think new install might work better since 90% of times when I try using media player to watch a movie it freezes and I have to end task it, the program is NOT in the control panel - programs and features and when I go to folder in program files it does not let me delete it!!! please help! thanks! - Chris

In Vista, you can't. It's part of Windows.
Why not to use some other program instead?
