From what I've read most of these guys recommend port forwarding.Could you help me on that ?

I actully tried that but it doesn't have my modem on which is a Belkin F5D8235-4 V2.I tried the normal one but that didn't work while I was seeting up my static IP,my internet wasn't working.

It surely has your router, F5D8235-4 (not modem). DO NOT set static IP.

It does ask for it in the 2nd step,it says "Do not skip this step" or something of that sort and enter the last digits of your static IP address,
