newcomer21. Do you have the other drive (the old one that is supposed to be bad)?
If so, lets see if we can change the symptoms that we are having.
Put the other drive back in and try running a few checks.
See if it is recognized. See if RC will run. Try a drive check on it.
I just want to see what issues come up on the other drive. We have to try and determine whether your new drive is bad, or a controller is bad.
If controller is bad, then its the board and generally to expensive to replace.
