Good work :) .

There was a file I was looking for but its not there.

Now I did a quick search and didn't realise this went right back to DOS. So I think you will need to use an emulator.
Otherwise its not going to work.

You will need to download Dos Box and then follow This Turtorial

Well....it is a bit confusing as i have never run a program like that but i will keep playing with it and learn how to work it...is it possible for me to mess up my computer by typing in wrong commands?

I wouldn't say so no.
You are running in sandbox mode which basically means you inside the program itself. So you should be safe.
