Worm.win32.netsky problem

Recently my computer has become infected by the worm.win32.netsky virus. I attempted to remove it using combofix and thought I was successful because I was no longer receiving infection messages however my system's resources are still being heavily taxed and the computer runs very slowly.

As well, I contracted the google redirect virus at about the same time. I believe this one was removed as I am no longer redirected to bogus sites.

Could you please help me ameliorate this problem and suggest actions to take for future prevention.

I know that it is the holidays and everyone is very busy. I am not expecting anyone to take time away from their family to help me. I am simply posting so that my request doesn't get swept under the carpet. I am not home right now to work on this anyway, but would like some help that I may use when I return home.
