I get this about once a week just randomly. I was just wondering what causes this. All I do is I reset and it seems to work fine until it happens again.

Could be the Registry contains errors or redundant/invalid entries, but your error message can be triggered by several unconnected causes. Using a good registry cleaner is the easiest first thing to try though, but there are good and bad registry cleaners. The bad ones remove the wrong entries, the good ones do not.

One I can confidently recommend is the free "PowerTools Lite" from www.macecraft.com. (under the green button).
It won't damage your windows registry or remove anything incorrectly, so it has to be worth a try. If the problem remains you haven't lost anything by trying it first.

I figured it out on my own. Another great tool is Auglogics Registry Cleaner, I have used it for years and it does an amazing job and is completely free. I suggest it to anyone. http://auslogics.com/en/
