Megasoma better than Destructor?

Hey guys,
So I have some leftover money from Christmas (about $60) that I need to spend. I was thinking of buying Razer's new mousepad, the Megasoma, since my trusty Destructor is starting to wear down a bit. To its credit, the Destructor has been with me through about 2 years of heavy gaming use, which I think is reasonable for a hard-surface pad, but soon I'll need something new anyways, and I'm wondering if it's really worth the money for the Megasoma.

If anyone else has used both the megasoma and destructor, I'd love to hear a comparison. Or anybody with experience with a megasoma, really - how is it? Is it really worth getting the world's most expensive mousepad?

Thanks for any input you can provide!

Oh, and I'm using a Razer Mamba with it. I know, I spend too much... :)
