I have tried the fixes that have been posted in the various threads (downloaded reg fix etc) without success. Ran spyware and scanned for viruses. Checked registry [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]

All it says in the right pane is:

Default REG_SZ (value not set)

Any help would be appreciated!!
