Hi, I successfully installed Windows 7 upgrade but now Firefox won't connect to the internet. It loads a blank page with my homepage address (Google)but nothing else. Internet Explorer works with no problems, but Firefox won't connect to any sites. Prior to installing Windows 7 I was using Firefox all the time with no problems.

I have added Mozilla Firefox to the "allowed list" in the Windows Firewall. I am running the free version of AVG, but can't find any reference to firewalls on it. I am also running Stopzilla. Any suggestions please?

Try this: Remove Firefox. Re-install latest version from their website (3.5.6).

Thanks, I have tried that a couple of times, but still the same. Can't think what to do next.

Since my last post, have been on to my IP who had me start Firefox and Thunderbird in Safe Mode, but to no avail. Both wont connect. IE connects fine, but I want to use FF and TB. Could it be that the Windows 7 upgrade has somehow prevented me from installing a 3rd party browser. I also loaded Opera, but it won't connect to the internet either, says there is a networking problem.

Ho Hum, I'm appealing to any one out there who understands this glitch more than me.

Tks
