Hello everyone,
I have looked through the FAQ's and find answers to the question, but those are when you are able to log on it seems.

I am working on a friend's computer, and when I click on his user name to be able to use the computer, I get the "logon message: the system cannot log you on because the domain LAPTOP is not available". I tried Safe Mode but get the same message. He needs the files that are on the computer, so I can't do a system restore. Wits end here, even tried doing a file transfer, but with no luck there either.
