System freezing up all the time -All of a sudden-HELP

Hi

I have windows xp home. All of a sudden its constantly freezing and running slowly, VERY slowly. I ran virus check, nothing, ran spybot and cleaned things up, but it did not fix problem. also performed disk clean up and defrag. Can someone help me please?

You may still have a malware infection slowing down your pc since no single antivirus or anti-spyware application will find everything, especially if it's a trojan infection.

Please go here and read all of the guide to getting rid of malware.

If after trying all the recommended methods you still have problems, please post on that forum explaining what you tried and what problem(s) remains unsolved.

Am I supposed to download ALL of this???? Also I tried to download the first program and it keeps giving me an error. God I wished I had a Mac.

Also when it freezes up I get a loud constant smoke alarm type tone that rings thru the computer until I hit the reboot button.
