After I install SP2 I get access to the internet and everything is as normal.. Then once I have rebooted I can't access the net, but in the background my messengers are working.. very strange!!!
Has anyone please got any ideas?

Try uninstalling and then installing sp2 again.

How do you connect to the net - dial-up or broadband??
Have you tried disabling XP's built-in firewall??
What happens when you try to get online - error message or what??
