Started on Christmas eve day, everything froze and had to push reset to re-boot. Kept happening sometimes right away sometimes after several hours. To make this story a little shorter, over the next two days I swapped out memory cards, video card, un-installed web cam and drivers, un-installed skype, did system restore to two weeks earlier. Still would freeze after a short while. Of interest after un-installing skype and re-booting, message "found new hardware"" installed new hardware need to reboot" which I did, but I hadn't installed any new hardware and should have checked hardware manager before re-booting (oh well). Started back up and shortly froze again. Pushed reset and on restart got blue screen of death indicating a hardware problem. Pushed reset again and nothing. mobo self test 75. Tried again several times after checking all connections and now get self test 7F. Disconnected all drives and still get 7F.
Now what??
Built this system a little over a year ago and it has been working fine with out any problems.

Went to the abit site and found this:
7F Switch back to text mode if full screen logo is supported-If errors occur, report errors & wait for keys-If no errors occur or F1 key is pressed to continue: Clear EPA or customization logo 4X->5X->Stop at 7F Checksum ErrorBroken IDE cableLoad BIOS default Press Del bottom and load into BIOS, load optimized default. If problem remains the same, we suggest you send to RMA at last

Think maybe the mobo is bad!!

You shouldn't bump the post. It looks like someone is already helping you.

Have you tried safemode?
Last known good configuration?
