Okay, first let me admit to being a total novice to anything software related with computers. I have an Asus notebook that I love but apparently has contracted a virus. From what I understand after reading the info from this site, I have to download TFC. I need help some hand holding because I sure am waaay above my head.

Problem background:

1) Received windows security alert saying computer infected, when I clicked on the 'scan' item, I was redirected to Antivirus Live product info.

2) Next started to receive infiltration alerts. Threats from both BankerFox.A and Win32/Nuqel.E Each time these attacks came from a different number sequence and a different attacked port.

3) I get various security warning pop-ups in the middle of my screen saying, Application cannot be executed file _______________.exe is infected. The files that have shown up so far are,
wmiprvse.exe
acrord32.exe
taskmgr.exe
regsvr32.exe
wmiadap.exe
loguni.exe

4) I also am getting spyware alert pop-ups

5) To top this all off, I can no longer access IE, BUT I get frequent unasked for porn sites that open on IE (ick!)

I can download TFC but cannot open it. I've tried downloading some other programs, but I cannot open those either.

As you can see I have alot of problems and I don't know where to begin. Any help is greatly, profoundly appreciated!
