So I've been having lots and lots and lots of trouble trying to get rid of the Google Redirect. I tried every single thing across lots of forums, but for some reason I can't use Combo-fix. Everytime I download it and boot it up it gives me a scary "Never run this on a live machine" message. So I thought I'd get the ball rolling, here's a bunch of shiny logfiles to get started. The log for Malware bytes says the rootkit was deleted, but it required a restart to delete completely. When I do that, even in safe mode for both scans and restarts, it never runs on restart and the infection comes back. Please help X_x I've spent a week trying to fix this stupid problem.
