Windows Live Messenger Installation Problem

Hey all,
Well I recently installed Windows 7 on my computer. I'm having a problem installing Windows Live Messenger. I got the latest Windows Live Installer from their website I chose only to download the Messenger and when installing I get to about 51% "Downloading Messenger" and stops. Gives me an error 0x800b0004. Can anyone help?

Hey Amro J.

Have you tried uninstalling (if it did install at all) and reinstalling? If not, follow these instructions:

To uninstall:

1. Go to Start
2. Click Control Panel
3. Click Uninstall A Program
4. Remove Windows Live and any associated programs

If it doesn't uninstall, please download the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility:

Install this utility and then remove any Windows Live programs.

To reinstall:

1. Go to the following site to redownload the installer (save to your desktop):

http://download.live.../?sku=messenger

2. Double click the installer
3. Follow the prompts
