Yes that error is normal for everest.
Its the driver used to associate the information.
Also the Who Crahsed it report has not been attached. However may I get you to run a different log tool, I've got your post mixed up with another 1, sorry
Please download VEW and save it to your Desktop:
Setting up the program
Right-click VEW.exe and select Run as Administrator then under Select log to query, select:

Sorry but it was 3am here and I do need to sleep
The error you got it usually because the program was run incorrectly.
You need to download the program, best option would be to download it to your desktop and then right click the file and select Run as administrator
Everest is a system hardware report collection tool. Its used to find information about your system and what is used to run it.
I usually request that tool and report be made for a couple of reasons:
Although its not always used it just saves asking for it at a later date.

I usually request that tool and report be made for a couple of reasons:
- I can see what hardware you have on the system
- I can check your hardware against the requirment of the game to make sure it can run the game
- It allows me to search and provide drivers if necesary
Although its not always used it just saves asking for it at a later date.

WhoCrashed tells us about possible driver problems.
Everest tells us about your system and gives us some insight into how your system is configured.
Your VEW logs shows borderlands itself is the problem.
Is this a retail version of the game or a downloaded copy?

haha no problem, should be here all day now
With your install being through Steam, we can verify the integrity of the install:
Verify the integrity of your files.
1. Right click Borderlands under the My Games tab in the Steam window
2. Click Properties.
3. Click on the Local files tab.
4. Click Verify integrity of game cache....
5. Let it finish verifying your game files. It should show a few files that fail the verification and are automatically updated.
6. Let it finish updating the files.
7. Launch Borderlands.
Hopefully it will find and repair something that failed

I'm actually not sure if anything pops up so that's ok, the third column along I think should say verifying something like that.
But yes try a defrag now and then try and verify it again and see what happens there.
