Recently my laptop (a Lenovo N500) decided it didn't want to recognize any USB mice I plug into it. The USB still recognizes a flash drive and the mouse lights up when I connect it so it's getting power. However, Windows keeps installing a generic "unknown device" but the mouse won't work. I've also been unable to find a driver from the manufacturer (Belkin mobile retractable mouse F5L016) or even support from them. Any advice?

I'd love to try it out but Windows has decided to crash the program every time I try to run it ... any other suggestions?
