hi all

i have been trying to reinstall windows as i am giving it to my kids, so a fresh start for them

i have original windows XP disc and have reformatted this pc before. now when i put it in and restart the pc it says boot from cd but goes to the normal desk top

i have change the biois to start from cd on all options and still will not detect.

once i get it to detect the windows cd i am fine

any suggestions

Maybe the disk is corrupted.Try to read it in Windows mode.
