troutsicle
the one time that i actually remembering it snowing back home in louisiana, it actually froze in the swamp where my grandparents live...there was an inch of ice on salt water (for anyone who doesn't know how amazing that is...try to freeze some)...the up side was that all of the fish got "stunned"...since they were all frozen they just floated up to the top of the water (under the ice) and stayed frozen the whole day after the ice actually thawed...we just drove around in the boat picking up the fish that we wanted and putting them in the boat, once they warmed up they'd start flopping around in the bottom of the boat

Never saw one freeze with its fins out like that. Looks like it's already mounted. Hard to tell but it's standing with its fins on the ice. Almost looks like it's still underwater (crappy phone camera).

Sorry PETA!
The fish was there when I got there. Had to take a picture. It got to 33 below that night. They said it was just shy of 30 below when they caught it (-29.7 F) if I recall correctly.
*admin thought kats liked to eat fish!

I like to fish. I don't like the taste of fish.
I just love to be out on the water, and fishing. It's relaxing for me.

Psh. We got about 8" of snow today. Up until now, we've been lucky and gotten only about 2" total the whole winter. We also have below zero temps atm, with 30+ mph winds. Blegh. I'm ready to head to Australia now!
