Wireless Connected But Can't Access Internet

Hello,

My laptop can connect, it says I have internet access, and I even have great signal, but I don't have internet access. I have a HP Pavilion dv6-1230us. I recently upgraded it to Windows 7, but it didn't work much better in Vista either. It actually does connect for about 30 second periods very randomly, but that really isn't suffice. If you need any more information, feel free to ask.
