Alright sorry I posted a lot of information. Here's a summary of everything:

Router is a WRT160N, and my wireless adapter is a WMP600N. The computer with the adapter is having the issues.
Linksys Wireless Manager as well as Network Diagnostics claim that I'm connected to the network. But I'm not getting any signal(sometimes, but very inconsistently). There isn't any consistent error message either.
Also, whenever it does struggle to somehow connect, only the normal icon in the systray says I'm connected to the internet; wireless manager claims I'm offline 100% of the time. Linksys wireless manager says: "Your adapter has been configured and you are connected to the network. However, Linksys Wireless Manager could not verify your internet connection."

Well. I did another hard reset and decided to try WPA2 Personal security this time around.

I'm connected to the internet just fine and well at the moment, but the Linksys Wireless Manager STILL says no wireless network connected?! It even says, in the confirmation screen, that it's just fine. I even connected through the manager! Additionally I just went on speedtest.net and it says I have a 5 MBPS connection.

!?!?

None of this adds up. I'm not concerned about the fact that it's working, right now, but why changing from WEP to WPA2 was such an easy(temporary?) solution. By the time you reply it might not be working again, though, so lets see.

The network problems should probably come first, but I made another interesting observation. A lot of graphics, even on desktop/firefox look really.. wavy. Maybe.. liquidish. Almost glitchy. Kind of like a mix between an old nintendo glitched out and static on a TV. It's not bad and I can certainly live with it, but if such a thing is a warning sign for a bigger issue I thought I'd throw it out there. Also the option to select 1600x1200(in fact anything above 1280x1024) disappeared from my display settings. I don't care really, but just the "Why is it doing that?" is bothering me about a lot of these things.

I would say the adapter on the system is failing at this point.


The graphics could be a problem with the drivers or the video chip itself.

Is there a way I can test this stuff? I wonder if I should make a new thread and stop burdening you with problem after problem since this isn't about System Building or Upgrading any more.

Also maybe it is the driver. Because this internet nonsense wasn't a problem until after I installed a whole bunch of drivers after I installed the new motherboard.

The only other option is to try and boot in to Safe Mode With Networking and see if the network works there. If so then we would have to look at drivers as a problem.
