How about a new IDE cable?
Is there any rips or pinched areas in the one you have? Maybe a hole in it somewhere?

Monitor wont display anything or get recognized.
Also USB keyboard and mouse will not get recognized.
I don't know what's wrong. I'm almost absolutely sure everything is plugged in correctly. The only thing I left unplugged is a little 4-pin cable that's attached with the biggest cable going into JATXPWR1. All fans running just fine, CPU fan is running, PSU fan is running, GFX Card fan is running.
Random observations:
- Two little red lights are on, on the mobo, underneath the PCI slots.
- If plugged in ever so slightly and tilted up, the mouse will get power and the optical lazer will shine.
- CD-Rom works withOUT IDE cable plugged in.
_ _ _
It sounds like a mobo problem.. but if there was a mobo problem, why is the CPU fan getting power? And why is the GFX card fan getting power?

We have only a couple of possibilities to what is going on.
Motherboard or PSU.
Motherboard could still power on but not have enough to power everything. PSU faulty could also cause this issue.
My wife had a motherboard like what you are describing with the lights. It would do the green and red lights like that and I ended up building her a new system completely.

Now that you reminded me of the new case let me ask is this the first time you have booted since replacing the case?

Everything else was in my old case. I transferred all the hardware over and put it all into the new case.

This all worked before correct?
I think the issue now is a shorting problem.
