Hello,

I have been having some frustrating issues with iTunes not being able to connect to the internet. I have tried adding it to the acceptions list on my Firewall a few times as well as uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes itself.

When I try to connect to the Store, I get a message saying
'iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. Make sure your network connection is active and try again.'

When I load a CD, I get a message saying
'The song names for this CD could not be found online. Do you still want to import the songs?'

I have read through the forums, but no one seems to have the exact same issue resolved. I have noted that there are known problems involving Norton, which I do have, but have not been able to resolve with the information in the forums.

I am running Windows XP and have the latest version of iTunes.

I connect to the internet via wireless usb adapter.

Also, I have tried ripping the CDs using Windows Media Player, but that cannot retrieve the album information either.

I haven't had any connectivity issues until three days ago. I think there may be a link between these problems and an iTunes update which also occurred three days ago, but I don't think there were any immediate issues after the update. I have spent hours searching through forums and asking friends, so some help with my specific problem would be greatly appreciated!
