Hi,

The weirdest thing happened to my laptop. The night before, I shut down as usual, and the following morning when I start up, it suddenly request for a password before I could log in. I am the only user of my laptop, and it has only one account which is also the admin account. I have no idea what happened as I did not set any password on it. Apparently, the password hint was "123".

Fortunately, I got onto the guest account, did some goggling, and discovered "Offline NT password and registry editor" which cleared the password and log me in. Nothing changed in the account (at least not that I've noticed).

Now....has anyone had this problem before? Do you think its some kind of virus/malware/spyware? Have I been hacked?

Any insight will be very much appreciated.

Thank you,
dancingdream
