:) Always loved making websites but Geocities went under with their free services and now I don't know where to go to get a free server/editor.

Looking to make a website for my guild on WoW.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

You would be better off down loading any good free web editor and making your web site locally. You will have a backup working copy to move to any hosting site of your choice.

Editors (PC):

Online Flash Editor:

FrontPage is the world's WORSE web editor. WordPad, Word, Publisher and even the infamous FrontPage should NEVER be used for web pages. They guarantee that your web pages will NOT be cross-browser compatible because of all the Microsoft Schema code it adds. Only IE and Maxthon understand this code.

If you just have to use the online editors the hosting site provides...

000webhost.com is a good host. they offer 1500mb free (for a guild i think thats enough) and if you DO want to pay i think its only $4.68 for unlimited memory (if its actiouly unlimited i dont know, there are issues with some people on this site saying that no host offers unlimited memory, and thet that is impossable, i can not prove eaither way, so ill leave that up to you)

and you might what a PORTABLE webeditor, there are soem on here:
www.pendriveapps.com
you do not need to install these, and you also dont need to have them portable. they take up less memory and if you are like me, portable is better (i have over 100 portable apps on my flashdrive, they take up a little over 1 gig right now)

filezilla might also be good for you, this is a FTP client/server (comes in both but they are seperate)

heres the client:
http://filezilla-pro...rg/download.php

i think you can get the sever on that site also...it is there site, but i do not know the link to that.

and by the way, webs is an ok site, but its not the best. if you want a website like that...that you dont code your self, wix.com is good, it runs on flash though so you need to make sure that everyone can run it (some people will turn flash off to try and avoid virus's and also to make their internet go faster)

this is the longest ive spent on a post, so i hope it helps =)
