I have searched and nothing relating to my problem
I installed GTR2 (DVD Version) on my computer after a fresh Windows7 install
There is an option when you install the game to automatically configure your resolution I left this unchecked.
If I try to play the game I get the Resolution configuration pops up, no matter what setting I use it just keeps coming back.

I have tried disabling aliasing in the Nvidia tool box
I have set the screen resolution to the default 800x600 (That’s the Video Configuration popup shows as its default).
I have tried to use different settings within the Configuration popup
Used matching configuration settings in Nvidia
Tried using DriectX 7 & DirectX 9
Re installed the game (Twice) run all updates
Reformatted my drive (Twice)
Updated Nvidia Drivers from the Nvidia website
Turned off the UAC
Ran as administrator
Kicked the cat

I am running:
Widows7 64bit
i7 Quad
Nvidia GTX 295
12 gig of ram
A headache

Thanks for any assistance.

At this point I am even willing to share my desktop to try to fix this.

I will add a screen shot tonight in the hopes it will help someone answer my problem.

Hi,
Welcome to GeeksToGo :)

Can you give me the exact message you are getting when running the game.

Thanks

I think I have found the problem I re installed the game again but did not apply the game patch.... it now runs.
I was installing the game then immediately installing the patch before running the game.

Now I can set the Video con-fig so I will try to apply the patch then and see if that solves the issue
I will post here after I have tried this approach.

Another forum also said to load the NoDvd crack for GTR2 I will ether try that or try load Game Jackal.
Thanks
