Greetings
I have a P4 1.7gig on an ASUS P4S533-MX motherbord which has it's own video running XP.

I'm starting to do some film clip processing from my camera and finding out that HiDeff video is slow at best.

Can I get a video card for this machine that will help do the job of playing and processing video. Might even consider ripping some of my old VHS that won't copy to DVDs. down the road...

Or should I consider a new Machine.

thanks

The board dates from 2002.
Realistically it's obsolete and not designed for what you're doing with it now.
On that basis it's not worth considering even upgrading it because it'll still be, with all due respect, old and slow.
