Help spilt beverage on my new HP Vista computer

Ok I have had this fpr 8 days and discovered that a cup had been knocked over and the liquid splashed on the sige of the tower and onced dried it's tacky. My computer still runs smoothly but I'm just worred about the long run effects of this. I don't know if it has went inside of the computer but Im sure it has my questions are:
Will my warranty cover repairs?
What can I do to find out if it spilt inside of it?
Should I worry?
