I am having a problem with java on some websites. It is by no means all, and when I do the various javascript tests that you find on the net, java seems to be working.
What happens is that I click on a link which should launch a java applet, and nothing happens.(These applets work ok on other pcs, so it is not a site issue). On other sites, java applets seem to work fine.
I have reinstalled windows, but the problem is still there.
I use both firefox and IE6 (firefox as a preference), and the problem occurs with both browsers - therefore it is probably not a browser issue.
Help please!
