So, recently I had a nasty bug called 'worm.win32.netsky' which came along with other sorts of viruses.
After getting rid of the initial viruses, and then NetSky, my computer would not let me log into Windows. It would simply log-in, flash my desktop, and then log me back out. I simply re-installed my XP and everything looked to be fine. Except my entire hard drive has been wiped clean, and my internet would not work!
I'm not too concerned about the hard drive files, since everything that was REALLY important I had backed up.

My internet is the main problem though, the ethernet cable lights up when it's put in my computer but nothing is detected. I think it might be a driver problem but I can't download any of my drivers because they are all on the internet.

Sorry if I am unclear, thanks.

Asus Drivers Download
Open drop down menu and chose your Os then click Search
A new window will open with all the drivers for your system
What you need is the Lan driver to get the ethernet working.
Since you don't have any of the drivers download them all and burn them to a cd for future reference. .

Thank you! I'm back online, but Firefox seems to be running slowly (It might be just because the scroll bar is lagging)

Also, my audio isn't working at all. Can I assume I need drivers for this too?
