Hi

I own an Asus (F8SG) laptop purchased about 1 1/2 years ago.

A family member recently purchased a Vista-loaded Gateway machine which came with free Windows 7 upgrade disks. They did not require the Windows 7 upgrade and thus gave it to me.

Is it possible to use a Gateway-badged Windows 7 upgrade disk on an Asus computer (i.e. a different manufacturer's computer)?

Thanks!
