My main objective is to create a function on my website to upload files onto the server using CGI.
To do that, I followed all the instructions on this easy-to-follow website http://www.sitepoint...-files-cgi-perl
But after following all their instructions, I'm still getting an "Internal Server Error" when I try to upload files.
The key problem lies with the fact that I'm currently using a CGI supported hosting service (www.livin4.com) that doesn't have any additional Perl CGI libraries included. In other words, in order for the CGI upload function to work, it will require the Perl CGI library, CGI.pm, to be installed on my hosting service's Web Server.
So the point is - I'm a non techie and am wondering if there's an easy way of installing CGI.pm onto their Web Server, so that I can start uploading files on my website? I know I download the CGI library from this site: ftp://ftp-genome.wi.mit.edu/pub/software/WWW/ but I really don't know how to proceed from there.
I don't know if I can get any real help on this, but I'm just trying my luck here...Thanks for your time!
