Hello. About three weeks ago I was happily buying tunes from the itunes store from the same machine and in the same way as I tried today. . Today I searched for a tune i wanted to buy , found it , listened to a clip of it but when i pressed 'buy now' , i got the little box "itunes could not connect to the itunes store . Check your network connection and try again".
I ran network diagnostics and got this (amongst other things

Windows Firewall is on.
iTunes is enabled in Windows Firewall.

Connection attempt to Apple web site was successful.
Connection attempt to iTunes Store was successful.
Secure connection attempt to iTunes Store was successful.

What could be happening here ?

Thanks for the links. In the end I downloaded itunes 9 ( had 7 on the machine) and installed it and got into the store with no problems
