cannot connect to Microsoft sites to download updates

I need to install my blackberry software and download other software but I keep getting an error message saying I don't have windows net 2. I looked at my programs and it says windows net 1. The problem is I cannot get access to the Microsoft sites to upgrade it. Does this windows net 2 control my access to the Microsoft sites? I am stuck
