vga driver downloads

We recently purchased a samsung camcorder which states compatible with xp and vista we have xp on main computer and vista on laptop. We downloaded with cd rom which is cyberlink mediashow it works on laptop but on main comp states you do not have compatible vga hardware or driver to run media show. We are not very computer friendly but have been working on this for days now can anybody please help.
