I have recently keep getting the BSOD on my XP. I reinstall it and now i cannot connect to the internet. As soon as i plug the ethernet cable in it says "Setup Wizard" Installing Ethernet Controller. I click next and it says "Do you want to connect to the internet and download the drivers?" Im like NO i go ahead and it says setup failed. Its a Compaq d1s1 or something like that. And it has SP1. also it has worked fine before i reinstalled it.
Plz Help :)
BTW i need internet in a couple of weeks to do something.....

Compaq d1s1 or something like that.

With information like this we will not be able to help you.
If you post the make and model of your computer we might be able to find what network card it has and then find the correct driver.
Your network card has no driver so it cannot connect. If you have a disk that came with the computer then you should try that for the missing driver.
