I have a problem with my Norton 360 internet security, the Anti phising definitions are not updating, everything else seems to be o.k, except when I run Norton diagnostic report it says "your operating system may be missing key security or performance patches. And advises downloading latest Windows updates, but according to Microsoft I have the latest updates installed. Is it possible that Microsoft can be fooled into believing my security is up to date whenit isn't? I'm thinking someone has gained access to my computer as I recently found a backdoor trojan with malwarebytes, that Norton 360 failed to detect. I may not be an expert in computers, but even I have to be a bit suspicious with what I am seeing. Any help would be appreciated as it does not seem to be forth coming on the Norton forum.

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post an OTListIt log in THAT forum.
