I just downloaded hijack this and need some help with it here is my list it told me to copy and paste thanks for any help ;) i have that stupid about blank in my web browser and cant get rid of it :tazz: ;)

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.

i went to the microsoft web site you sent and click on the sp1a download but it takes me to dl the sp2 and wont bring up the sp1a i have tried several times in the past to dl the sp2 and it wont download onto my pc and its very agrevating i have tried to uninstall the xp professional but cant i origanally had xp home then a friend put the xp pro on here now i can t get it off what do i do???

You need to find the origianl restore CD for xp home that cam with your computer,
You have an illegal copy of windows which is why it wont let you update
